My dance card is getting full

Well, Dash’s dance card at any rate.  Seems the SOHC4 rally is on again for the 3rd year in a row (and I have been on the two prior) so time to get ready for the 3rd.  The first year (2011) I was the only rider representing Southern California.  In 2012 one other rider joined me.  This go round seems we picked up at least 3 others.

For those who want to see what 2011 was all about (I’m called Mooshie on this forum) Godzilla actually ended up going through Europe with the SOHC4 riders over there:

2012 in Joshua Tree, CA

2012 in Joshua Tree, CA

Scott is on the left (rode in from Arizona), Sal/Greenhornet from LA, me (of course), and Matt/FattMatt750 from San Francisco, CA

Looks like Godzilla should be arriving in California in very late April or early May so that puts Dash and I at the San Luis Obispo rally from April 25th until the 28th and then back on the road right after that from Santa Barbara all the way to San Francisco….

Dash gets a pedicure

A motorcycle pedicure of sorts.  Newly polished old stock rims, new stainless steel spokes, wheel bearings (wow not 37 year old ones but brand new–I’m beside myself), polished hubs and all sorts of other goodies; front and rear.

Dash deserves his make over so when we roll into San Luis Obispo in April and on to British Columbia in July (which others are already saying the weather will be daunting—ye of little faith—if you want to ride with me its deserts in leather and whatever BC is known for in July!) we ride in style.

Update:  Dash has chosen black nail polish for his wheels.  Yup-black powder coated wheels with chrome hubs and stainless steel spokes.  Guess he wants to butch up a bit–ha ha.  Manly Dash!

Pictures to come soon…
